Data use

How your information supports search, the wallet and alerts.

What you enter

The waitlist uses your email address and optional home airport to record interest and send an invitation or launch updates. We also record the landing page and campaign attribution supplied with a signup. An invited account stores profile and preferences, chosen programs, manually entered balances, saved trips and alert criteria needed to provide the product.

Your wallet

Enter balances manually. AwardAnchor does not ask for airline, hotel or bank credentials or sign in to those accounts for you. Wallet balances are field-encrypted; the server uses them to calculate affordability. A displayed estimate depends on the balances you entered and the transfer paths available in the product.

Search and collection

Public travel observations are collected separately from your identity. Your wallet balance is not sent to an airline or hotel to ask for a fare. Search and alert criteria are used inside AwardAnchor to find matching observations. Links to an airline or hotel take you to a separate service with its own privacy and booking policies.

Service operation

Account authentication, storage and email delivery require service providers to process the information needed for their role. Access controls separate account data. Security counters use a short-lived pseudonymous network identifier to limit waitlist abuse; the raw address is not stored in that counter.

Your controls

You can update entered balances, preferences and alert rules in the app. For data questions or waitlist removal, reply to your invitation or confirmation email. Read the Privacy Notice for tracking choices.
